The Italian Lake district was the location of our 2015 trip. We began our trip in the city of Milan. Our first stop was Venice, not quite in the lake district but close enough that is was worth including. We were able to visit some private gardens in Venice.

Then it was off to visit the lakes. What amazing gardens and scenery. We even did a wine tasting at a wonderful wintery on a hillside overlooking one of the lakes.
