About Us
She is a member of the American Hydrangea Society, the American Ivy Society, Georgia Perennial Plant Association and the Sandy Springs Garden Club. She is very active in the gardening community of Sandy Springs, GA and currently coordinates volunteer workdays at Heritage Green in Sandy Springs. She is also coordinates a series of gardening courses for Heritage Sandy Springs for Spring/Summer.
In her previous profession, Chris traveled extensively for work throughout Europe and North America. She always took advantage of these times to explore locales and experience other cultures.
Michael Smith of Frenchtours, Ltd will be our guide
for our tours. Frenchtours, LTD are specialist providers of group travel throughout the Euro Zone and the United Kingdom. Michael had a passion for gardening since he was age 5 and he obtained a degree in botany from university in the UK.
Michael arranged the AHS tour to England in 2006. He has lead over 400 garden tours over the years including a handful in the United States and his most loyal garden visit group has done fifty-three tours with him.
In order to hold a government guide license in France, Michael had to obtain a French university Bachelor of Arts degree in tourism. His July 2013 tour in France about hydrangeas and gardens and about the French way of life was a big hit with the tour group.
