France 2016
Our 2016 trip had us visiting Provence and the Cote d'Azur. We visited gardens and other sights in Monaco as well. Our trip began and ended in beautiful city of Nice.
In Provence we had a lovely picnic in the courtyard at the St. Andre Abbey. We also had a lovely organic lunch in the garden at La Pomme d'Ambre with our wonderful hostess Nicole.
Italy 2015
The Italian Lake district was the location of our 2015 trip. We began our trip in the city of Milan. Our first stop was Venice, not quite in the lake district but close enough that is was worth including. We were able to visit some private gardens in Venice.
Then it was off to visit the lakes. What amazing gardens and scenery. We even did a wine tasting at a wonderful wintery on a hillside overlooking one of the lakes.
